Abstract A1452 presents a luminous field where surface, light, and perception continuously shift. Executed in a pearlescent palette, the work resists a fixed reading, instead unfolding through layers of reflection and spatial ambiguity.
Beneath a delicate web of sprayed pigment and high-gloss varnish, three-dimensional geometric and abstract forms emerge and recede. These forms do not assert themselves as rigid structures; rather, they appear suspended — as if hovering within the depth of the surface. The result is a subtle tension between material presence and optical illusion.
The pearlescent quality plays a central role in this experience. Light does not simply illuminate the painting; it activates it. As the viewer moves, the surface transforms — shifting from soft luminosity to sharper, almost metallic reflections.
