Abstract A1454 is a large-scale work structured through contrast, balance, and material depth. The composition unfolds as a dialogue between fields of color and geometric interruption, where red, black, and gold establish a controlled yet dynamic tension.

In its vertical orientation, the painting reveals a stratified order: a dominant red upper field transitions into a dense black middle and lower section. Along the right edge, a vertical gold band emerges as a directional element — present yet dissolving toward the top, suggesting both continuity and disappearance. Anchoring the composition, a large grey rectangle occupies the lower right quadrant, introducing weight and spatial counterbalance.

The work is built through multiple layers of application, using brushes, sponges, palette knife, and spray.
