When a collector asks for something intimate, refined, and deeply symbolic, the result often becomes far more than a simple painting order. That was exactly the story behind Japanese Birds J559
New painting J559

, a commissioned painting by artist Ksavera, created on the basis of the earlier artwork J395.
It is the same gold paint used for the background. J395 was photographed in the cool December sunlight, while the new J559 was photographed in the warm August sun.
J395

The composition follows one of the most beloved motifs in Japanese-inspired decorative art:
on an old apple tree branch sits a pair of loving grosbeaks, calm and inseparable.
Above them glows the sun.
Beside them rests a delicate haiku inscription.
Haiku:
秋たつや 何におどろく 陰陽師
Aki tatsu ya / nani ni odoroku / onmyōji
Autumn is here already —
what stirs such sudden wonder
in the prediction?

Together these elements create a scene of serenity, affection, and timeless harmony — a symbolic interior artwork especially suited as:
- a wedding gift,
- an anniversary present,
- or a poetic focal point for a peaceful home.
J559 carries the layered richness typical for Ksavera’s originals: luminous metallic gold, hand-painted black brunches, soft tonal transitions, and multiple acrylic glazes that create depth and movement depending on the light.

Unlike mass-produced wall decor, every commissioned work by Ksavera evolves individually during the painting process.
Even when based on a previous composition, no two paintings are ever identical.

Japanese Birds J462 is therefore not merely a reproduction of J395, but a newly born interpretation.
